Reflecting on the year 2021, City Vino would like to thank you, the Fredericksburg community, for supporting small businesses again this year. Whether you have visited our shop once or a hundred times over the past couple of years, we appreciate the opportunity to get to know you, the wines you like, and the chance to introduce you to new-to-you wines.

Since we are in the middle of what is known as the dog days of summer, let’s open up—or even conjure up—some delightful, refreshing, and chilled party wines and cocktails to get us through the heat. Invite friends and family over, throw the inflatable swan into the pool, break out the citronella tiki torches, and get the little drink umbrellas and flamingo stirrers ready, because it’s party time!
While the weather was not too cooperative or spending time outside with family and friends on Memorial Day weekend, warmer and sunnier days do lie ahead for the coming weekend and beyond. It is time to fire up the grill, fill your plate with its delights and summer bounty, and to add a glass or two of wine.
